Vid: SIGNAL TO NOISE

Here is the end result of a long and difficult journey: I've wanted to create a video out of this song from Peter Gabriel for a very long time. Since my friend Lucia - a *huge* P.G. fan - played it for me, I've felt that it was perfect for Farscape and the moral dilemma at the end of Dog with Two Bones, Season Three's dramatic final episode.
But the road has been long and difficult, mostly because this is still a new medium for me, and I'm learning - but having fun despite the difficulties.
My most heartfelt thanks go to

Date: 2010-08-11 05:40 pm (UTC)It was a hard road, but I'm happy of the results (and happy that it's over! LOL), even more when one of my vidding mentors says such nice things about it!
The part with the recording device was more an act of desperation than anything else...
Arevhat told me it was a bit static - and indeed it was - but I could not think of another clip to place there that would be ok, so I used this "insect eye" filter, making it lighter with every passage, to give the idea of a signal that becomes clearer.
I'm deliriously happy that it seems to work. :-)
Thanks for stopping by!

It probably caught my...ear because it's very much like Farscape, that requires some "hard work" from its viewers, but in the end gives back so much more.
Thank you for your support and encouragement, it helped me a great deal to bring this...monster to completion! ;)

Beginner's luck! LOL
Thank you for the lovely feedback!!
