A new foray into fan-video territory: this was inspired by the beautiful and haunting piece you can listen to in BSG's episode "Passage" (3x10). Kat's back-story and her end prompted me to translate my feelings into this video.

Beautiful job on this. I love the softness you gave the entire thing as you interconnected the three main people involved in Talyn's arc (actually four since you show Chiana at both his birth and burial).

Hey, you made an instrumental vid, yay, with BSG soundtrack! Welcome to the club!:)

You created very moving representation of Talyn’s story here, I especially like your choice to show his connection with Aeryn. Really great work with creating the mood. (I wonder though how it would work if you keep original voices of Crais and Aeryn here, like his scream etc. it could look a little better than silent speaking but it’s just my personal opinion).

I've been enthralled by that segment of soundtrack since I heard it for the first time, and it's one of my favorites. Very moody and poignant.

While working on this vid I discovered how difficult it is to go on with only the music and no lyrics to anchor you, and my appreciation for your skills - your *art* - increased even more.

About adding voices: it's still new territory for me, and I've been also learning how to use Final Cut Express (very flexible but not exactly user friendly..), so I guess I will have to take one step at a time. That will be my next lesson :)

Right now I feel accomplished because I've learned how to superimpose clips! LOL LOL

But all in all, it was fun.
