nymeria_dwA new foray into fan-video territory: this was inspired by the beautiful and haunting piece you can listen to in BSG's episode "Passage" (3x10). Kat's back-story and her end prompted me to translate my feelings into this video.

Date: 2010-01-14 08:43 pm (UTC)I've been enthralled by that segment of soundtrack since I heard it for the first time, and it's one of my favorites. Very moody and poignant.
While working on this vid I discovered how difficult it is to go on with only the music and no lyrics to anchor you, and my appreciation for your skills - your *art* - increased even more.
About adding voices: it's still new territory for me, and I've been also learning how to use Final Cut Express (very flexible but not exactly user friendly..), so I guess I will have to take one step at a time. That will be my next lesson :)
Right now I feel accomplished because I've learned how to superimpose clips! LOL LOL
But all in all, it was fun.
